Column sat warm and the compressor never cycled off, day or night. He put gauges on it and found the condenser fan was not spinning up at all. New fan, cycling properly by that evening.
Fresh food side had climbed to 52°F overnight with a full fridge in it. He found a seized evaporator fan inside half an hour, had the motor on the van, and waited until it read 38 again.
